At a recent baby and toddler show I met a lovely couple who have set up a private baby scan clinic in Dinnington Sheffield. We got chatting and I was instantly amazed by this amazing duo.
So back in 2018 I popped over to their studio for a cuppa and to take some photos of their amazing set up.
New life Baby scan has been set up by husband and wife, Mandy & Gav. After about a year of careful planning, they finally opened their doors in June 2018.
They started their training in 2010, becoming fully qualified obstetric sonographers 2013 so you are in very safe hands.
They are HCPC registered and both still currently work in the NHS and have also worked in other private clinics. With a young family of their own and recognise the importance for parents to cherish these precious moments with their unborn babies.
Theses guys are so warm and friendly and have created an environment that will give parents a quality experience that they will remember for years to come.
Scanning suite
The private scanning suite its self is huge. Enough room that grandparents or other children to be can come and enjoy the scan too, without it feeling squashed.
You get to see your baby on a massive TV, while the ambiance of the room helps you to relax.
Gave and Mandy spend plenty of time ensuring that you get the very best view of your baby.

- Early pregnancy reassurance scans from 8 weeks
- Gender scans from 16 weeks
- 3D/4D bonding scans from 26-32 weeks
- Reassurance scans from 14 weeks

Book your Newborn Photography Session
When you have a scan at New Life you will be given a special code so when you book your Newborn Photography with myself you will receive either exclusive gift pack worth over £100 with your order or money off your order.
The ideal time to book your Newborn Photography session is after your 20 weeks scan. I enter your expected due date into my diary, but as we don’t know when baby will arrive I keep spaces available 2 weeks either side of you due date, so you will have a guaranteed appointment.
For this reason I can only take a certain amount of prebookable appointments for each month. As babies can only be photographed as newborns up until they are 4 weeks old I can’t always guarantee that I can fit you in if you leave it until baby is here as Im usually fully booked.
